Dr. Whitesel's Vita:

Dr. Bob Whitesel is the founder of C3 International (Creative Church Consulting International) a church growth consulting firm specializing in diagnostic services for churches that typically cannot afford a consultation. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Church Growth and Evangelism from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. For over 15 years, Dr. Whitesel has traveled internationally as a lecturer and consultant on church growth & evangelism, human resource development, and the arts.

He has served as a lecturer/consultant for diverse organizations including (listed alphabetically): the American Baptist Church, the Assemblies of God, the Christian Church/Churches of Christ, the Church of the Brethren, the Churches of God (Anderson, Indiana), Church of God General Conference; Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee), Church of the Nazarene, the Evangelical Free Church, International Conference of Faith Ministries, Lutheran Church of Germany, Lutheran Church of Switzerland, the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches, Rhema Church Association, the Southern Baptist Church, the United Methodist Church, the Wesleyan Church, the United Church of Christ, and Youth With a Mission.

Dr. Whitesel is Senior Editor of "Strategies for Today's Leader" magazine. Founded by the Dean of church growth research, Dr. Donald A. McGavran, it has remained for over 40 years the definitive magazine of church growth strategies. Dr. Whitesel also pens a regular column in the magazine titled, "Beyond the Headlines," which looks at current events through a church growth grid. In addition, he is an adjunct instructor for Indiana Wesleyan University teaching courses in Psychology, the Bible, Fine Arts, and Philosophy. He resides on Lake Tippecanoe, Indiana with his wife Rebecca and four daughters.
